This time last week, there were a number of questions about how last night's game would go. Starting with the goaltender sistuation. With Gaynor on the shelf for the game, and the other three goalies uncertain about their availability, the Octopus came through for the team, by returning early from his trip to New England. With a big performance in net by Kilp, the 'Squatch were able to beat the Moose 5-4 in a shootout that went seven scoreless rounds. But big time play from Fran Kochmer (2G, A) and Tommy Lesinski (G, A) put the 'Squatch into a great position during the game, which was capped off by Dennis Story's (1A) shootout goal that won the game in dramatic fashion. With two games left in the regular season, the Sasquatch maintain their momentum as they move closer to the playoffs. The Sasquatch play their next game on Sunday May 2nd @ 7:00pm as they faceoff against the Slashers.
