For two periods, the Sasquatch played smart, disciplined hockey, only to let a four goal lead dwindle down to one in a matter of minutes in the third period. As the Sasquatch went into the third period with a 4-0, they dropped their guard against the Slashers, allowing three goals in the third period. In spite of the meltdown, the 'Squatch were able to hold on to the lead and win the game 4-3. With the win, the 'Squatch improve their record to 17-6-0. With three games remaining in the regular season, the Sasquatch will aim to reach the 20 win plateau as they head into the playoffs. Next game is scheduled for Sunday April 25th at 6:00pm vs. the Moose.
In other news, Sasquatch winger, Eric Litchendorf, celebrated the birth of his baby daughter over the past weekend. Congrats to Eric and family!!!<
