Sunday's game between the Sasquatch and the Moose was a barn burner that ended in dramatic fashion. After taking a 4-0 lead in the first period, the 'Squatch found themselves trailing 7-5 late in the game. With their net empty for the extra attacker, the Sasquatch tied the game 7-7 in the final minute of regulation to send the game to a shoot-out. In the 6th round of the shoot-out, Fran Kochmer burried a shot through the five-hole of the Moose goalie for the deciding goal in the Sasquatch shoot-out win. With this win, the Sasquatch improved their record to 8-3-0. The 2nd place 'Squatch will take the ice again on Thursday February 4th, when they face-off against the Typhoon. It will be another late one, as the puck drops at 10:20pm.
