Finding their recently lost offensive spunk, the Sasquatch ended their two game losing streak, defeating the Slashers convincingly. The 10-4 win will serve as a confidence boost for their next game, when they face off against the Stingers.
Last night's game between the Sasquatch and the Slashers was an offensive shootout. Although the 'Squatch scored early and often, the Slashers continued to generate scoring chances of their own, with break aways and odd-man rushes. In the end, the offensive effort by the 'Squatch was too overwhelming for the Slashers, as the capitalized on their chances and maintained control of the play in the offensive zone for most of the game. At 10:50pm on Wednesday, January 13th, the Sasquatch will try to get pay back against the Stingers, who routed the 'Squatch in their last two meetings with a combined score of 17-6.
