In a hard fought game, the Sasquatch were handed their first loss by a team other than the Stingers, as they fell short in the Shootout against the Slashers by the final score of 5-4. The 'Squatch started Sunday's game off slow, allowing three goals in the first period. In spite of having a short bench, the Sasquatch battled through the end to send the game to a shootout, preserving the point for the standings. The loss gives the Sasquatch a record of 18-6-1, foiling their chance at a 20 wins for the season. With one game remaining in the regular season, the 'Squatch will look to close the season out and enter the playoffs on a winning note. Come see the season finale, as the Sasquatch take on the Typhoon on Sunday May, 9th at 8:40pm.
