In a tight game that went down to the wire, the Sasquatch squandered an opportunity to make up ground between them and the first place Stingers, losing 4-3. Tim Carolan's gutsy performance (2 goals, assist) was not enough to lift the 'Squatch to victory against their arch rival Stingers. Although the team played hard in every phase of the game with very few mistakes, those very few mistakes proved to be costly. The loss made for a four point swing in the standings in the battle for first place in the division. After tonight's game, the Stingers improve their near perfect record to 12-0-1 (25 points), while the 'Squatch fall to 10-4-0 (20 pts). The Sasquatch will have their chance at quick redemption as they battle the Stingers again on Sunday February 28th at 8:40pm.
