| On a night that the Sasquatch looked to extend their winning streak heading into the playoffs, the team ended their regular season on a sour note. Over the past few weeks, the team had been playing well and feeling good; but last night's 6-1 loss to the Legacy brought the team back down to earth. Fortunately for the 'Squatch, this was not a playoff game. In last night's match-up, the Sasquatch faced a younger, more energetic Legacy team that has given the 'Squatch problems all season long. The game seemed to be played on tilted ice, as the Legacy maintained control of the game in the Sasquatch end of the rink for a majority of the game. Goaltending was also an issue, with Gaynor allowing two soft goals off his glove. The good news for the Sasquatch is that they will have a chance to redeem themselves tomorrow night, as they enter a first round play-in for a chance to advance to the Division Semi-Finals in the playoffs. The team will put this game behind them, and consider it as a "got it out of their system" game. If there was ever a night to get a bad game out of their system, last night was the night.
